Sage Centre and Tides Canada Foundation work towards common goals. They are separate legal entities but share some staff and members of their respective Boards of Directors.
Tides Canada Foundation is a national public foundation involved in grant making and providing strategic charitable giving services to donors. Sage Centre is a mission-driven charity that delivers programs focused on conservation, environmental education and research, leadership development, civic engagement, and building capacity for the charitable sector.
Since start-up in December 2000, Tides Canada Foundation has granted over $35 million to hundreds of charities and charitable initiatives working on environmental sustainability and social justice. To date, Sage Centre has invested over $19 million in delivering projects and programs.
